We were sad to learn of the loss of yoga scholar and author Georg Feuerstein at a young 65 years old. However, we are not at a loss for scholarly texts and articles thanks to the prolific career of Dr. Feuerstein who had a reputation for his steady and tireless investigation and interpretation of yoga. Some sad news to report. Yoga scholar and author Georg Feuerstein died yesterday, August 25th, at the age of 65. The German-Canadian praised Indologist wrote more than 30 books including The Yoga Tradition: Its History, Literature, Philosophy and Practice and The Deeper Dimension of Yoga: Theory and Practice, and others focusing on Yoga, mysticism, Tantra, Hinduism and Buddhism.
