It’s being called the You’ve Got Mail for Generation Yoga. If you’re looking for some adventurous and cheeky yoga-infused Chick Lit, look no further than Lucy Edge. Her newest offering, Down Dog Billionaire, is a comedic jaunt down the path of love, loss and your classic tale of one mega yoga studio out to crush the small mom and pop yoga studio. An internal dilemma ensues.
Here’s the official description:
Stuck in Slough, Meg’s going nowhere fast. Boxed in and stitched up, she jumps at the chance to work at Shine – the last word in luxe yoga, complete with cellulite-banishing yoga pants and high-tech mats. She loves putting her brand smarts into action, and her office view of the Gherkin, but when Shine threatens to shut down a small but beloved neighbourhood yoga studio, Meg’s forced to make a choice. Is she to be a buff-bodied, corporate girl, circling the globe and dating her sexy, charismatic boss, or does her heart lie closer to home, with the granola guy up the road and her own soul-fired business? Down Dog Billionaire is a heart-warming comedy of errors for any woman balancing bitchy colleagues, crazy friendships and men being men, with the never-ending temptation of chocolate.
Hitting close to home, this one. If you were a fan of Lucy Edge’s previous books, Yoga School Dropout and The Handbag and Wellies Club, we’ve no doubt you’ll be happy to dive right into this book.

Yoga has given me a way to unleash anxiety, fear and doubt. I practice and teach, and share with others how yoga has given me tools to love and accept myself.
Hoping I can enter the contest as a Canadian 😉
Yoga has taught me awareness more than any other thing. Feeling the way my body moves through space, the way my mind jumps from thought to thought, and how my spirit is moved when laughing with good friends. The mat helps me get rid of all the extra sticky stuff that makes me run on autopilot.
I am just a beginner yogi within the past couple of months, however I can already see the effects it is having on my life. I am learning to accept my body and its current capabilities while also striving to improve my practice. This sense of acceptance has also moved to other areas of my life which is bringing a sense of calm over my whole being.
Yoga has a positive impact on my health & well-being.
The physical practices of yoga have brought me ease in my body as I age. The meditative aspects of yoga have given me the gift of calm, peace and focus. I am so glad that I found my way to this path.
Yoga keeps me sane. That is all.
Yoga helps calm my mind and body. It helps me come home to myself.
Yoga helps me unwind after a long day of teaching. It also helps me be in tune with my body and get stronger each day.
I know nothing better.
During yoga and meditation, I get a chance to think about the emotional hurdles I normally can avoid during a fast-paced day. Many a personal epiphany or revelation has come to me during Savasana.
Yoga has showed me what my body and mind are capable of. It has given me the ability to trust myself more. I’ve dealt with depression, anxiety, and weight issues most of my life, and yoga has helped me find peace.
Yoga reminds me to breathe and reflect. It helps me to not kill my husband and children:):) Yoga keeps my soul refreshed!
Yoga helps me finding myself after having busy day with my full-time job, 3 kids at home, a husband. Breathing and doing asana keep my mind focus during the day, focusing on each task, when taking care of my children, not seeking about work. Ashtanga is also my workout.
Yoga helps me to understand life, let go of the fear, and be with the present.
Yoga allows me to forget all the noise, chaos and expectations around me and focus on myself. I love my body the most when I’m doing yoga.
Yoga has been there for me in my darkest times. It helps ease the daily pain of living with fibromyalgia and arthritis so i can stay off toxic medications, allows me to manage anxiety and panic attacks, and helps me to have a quality of life i would not otherwise have. It helps me to live in and appreciate the body i have.
Yoga brings me into the present
