It’s a child’s (and parent’s) dream come true! The Franklin Institute announced it will be holding Yoga with Elmo classes every Wednesday in November for kids of all ages (though you might want to let the little ones have this one). So when Elmo’s not being painfully cute, doing yoga with Amy Poehler or being hunted down like a wild animal for gift-giving season, the little fuzzy dude is hanging out at the museum in Philly.
The Franklin Institute’s website excitedly states:
As part of The Franklin Institute’s new exhibit, Sesame Street Presents: The Body, Elmo makes special daily appearances at the museum. Wednesdays this fall, Elmo joins in to help young learners discover how to breathe and focus while stretching and moving all in the name of good health!
Classes are free and open to the public 11am-11:30am, Wednesdays in November starting the 12th. More info at the Franklin Institute website.
Elmo says Namaste!

How fun! Can adults join in too?!?
Oh, never mind, I see you already said ” for kids of all ages (though you might want to let the little ones have this one).” Still fun though!
I totally just stumbled on this during my usual toddler-naptime yoga blog browsing and had a little geek-out moment, because that’s me! (Not Elmo; the yoga teacher.) I taught a previous Yoga with Elmo at the Franklin Institute last month which was very fun, and I’m excited to be teaching again this coming Wednesday. Hope to see some of you there — what a small world!
Awwww, that looks super awesome – wish I could experience it :)! I wouldnt care, I am an adult and I would definitely join this :).
