When he’s not busy as the quarterback for the Denver Broncos, Peyton Manning is apparently managing a gas station and making customers do yoga for Gatorade. In this ad, a woman is trying to buy herself some hangover juice when the store clerk tells her she’s not sweating enough and doesn’t having a “winning attitude,” earning him the helloooo… I have a hangover…I’ll show you a winning attitude look. He gets the manager (Peyton Manning) to help out (because it’s her birthday!) who then proceeds to have her practice some catur-chaturangas to produce enough back sweat in order to drink the colored sugar water.
It’s part of Gatorade’s “Sweat It To Get It” campaign and it’s just one of those things: is it funny or annoying, or both? Funny because she’s in a gas station, and doing yoga? In a gas station? For Gatorade?? Now that’s just ridiculous, and definitely not happening in LA. And it’s annoying because, yes, yoga can be an incredibly challenging discipline resulting in bodily perspiration, but no, you do not have to break a sweat to do yoga, and no, you do not have to do what Peyton Manning tells you to do especially because he hasn’t been doing his yoga himself and he lost the Super Bowl because of it. We know, those are fightin’ words, but we mean it. Come at us, Peyton!
Yoga is the biggest thing in commercials lately, next to ironic Geico jingles and creepy Old Spice moms. Have you seen the duck?

Half funny half annoying. Not clear, is this a real person or staged?
Useful tips you gave today. Thank you……
Thanks to give this wonderful article. I really enjoyed to read this article…….
It made me laugh. A little annoying, but ridiculous enough to get a chuckle.
I thought it was amusing, but personally wouldn’t let Gatorade pass my lips. Now doing yoga for Kombucha…that makes more sense.
