We have Star Wars Yoga and Dungeons & Dragons Yoga, should we be expecting a Harry Potter Yoga (HPY) in our near future? Hermione fans rejoice! Perhaps it’s unfair to put that kind of premature pressure on the lovely and scholarly British actress Emma Watson working hard to finish her degree in English Literature, but hey, she said she’ll have “a lot more time to pursue other passions” and she’s done her yoga teacher training!
”I love having something completely unrelated to the film industry. I want to find something that will let me use my brain in another way. I like connecting people who aren’t part of that industry,” she said in a recent interview.
”I love painting. So maybe I hone in on that and do more art classes? Or maybe something different. I’m a board two certified qualified yoga instructor.”
Interesting. Board two, eh? (We’re not entirely sure what that means.) Don’t worry, she wants continuing her acting career, too and may even do more theater, and maybe try her hand at singing. Still, HPY fans now have one more thing to dork out about.

Don’t do it!!!
I’m a 500 hour UK teacher, not a clue what a board two yoga teacher is either…
Ha
Board as in Her Majesty’s’ Imperial Board for the Official Certification for the Instruction of the Yogasanas from the Raj of the Indian Subcontinent in the United Kingdom and the Empire. From what I hear, nobody dares to step on a mat and teach unless the HMIBOCIYRISUKE approves. Good for you for getting certified, Emma!
If there is indeed such a certification, it is either elitist or bogus. The real proof in the pudding will be if she continues teaching beyond the time when yoga will become less popular in favor of cross fit or some other fitness fad du jour.
