YogaDork Giveaway: Jillian Pransky’s ‘Calm Body, Clear Mind’ DVD

in Giveaways!

If you didn’t notice, northern hemisphere, it’s winter out there! And while we may all still be thawing our toes out enough to fully wiggle them, we’re so happy to be bringing you more reasons to hunker down on your mat for a brief stint of much needed hibernation, even if it’s just for minutes at a time. We’re talking about Jillian Pransky’s new DVD entitled “Calm Body, Clear Mind.” Why, we don’t mind if we do!

Jillian Pransky is well-known in NYC and beyond for her deep knowledge and grounding teachings in restorative and therapeutic yoga. Drawing from trainings with T.K.V. Desikachar, Sharon Salzberg, Gary Kraftsow, Angela Farmer, and Stephen Cope, to name a few, Jillian teaches with her whole heart and is known by her students to be a compassionate, engaging and supportive guide for practice. If you’re not sure what we mean, you can check out a her latest article and “Goddess Practice” video (a sneak peak from her DVD).

WIN: We’re giving away FOUR copies of Jillian Pransky’s new DVD Calm Body, Clear Mind featuring a 75 minute program including a 30 minute Slow Flow Practice, a 30 minute Restorative Practice, and a 10 minute relaxation which can be done together or separately. Open to practitioners of all ages and levels.

TO ENTER: We think a calm body and a clear mind sound pretty wonderful, especially at the start of a new year (or, frankly, every day is great, too), but we’d like to throw it to you folks to share your thoughts on making the title your own. In other words, help us fill in the blanks: “Calm ____, Clear ____.” Share yours in the comments, on facebook (YD or Jillian’s) or on twitter @yogadork or @JillianPransky.

Giveaway will remain open until 11:59pm Wednesday, January 15th. Four winners will be chosen at random and announced soon after. Good luck!

UPDATE: Jillian has kindly added another copy, so we now have FIVE to give away. Congrats to winners Leah Henoch, VQ2, Sharon, JCDan and Genevieve Rohan! Thanks to all who entered and for your calm and clear poetry.
