DDP, Scott “Razor Ramon” Hall and Jake “The Snake” Roberts
Former pro wrestler turned yogapreneur/motivational coach Diamond Dallas Page is on a mission: to help all of his aging wrestling buddies get back on their feet again. Literally. Sure it looks like all fun and games on TV for those bulky folks in spandex, but however many times you roll your eyes at the over the top theatrics – yeah right, that’s so fake! – professional wrestlers take their job seriously and unfortunately many of them get seriously hurt in the process.
What happens to these once at the top of their game performers after they retire? For some, a reality show and a sex tape scandal, if they’re lucky. Or they’re forgotten about entirely and thrust into utter obscurity, battling addictions and chronic pain from injuries sustained on the job, many of whom die young. In the case of at least two of these guys, Scott “Razor Ramon” Hall and Jake “The Snake” Roberts, a new lease on life is possible with the help of Diamond Dallas Page, their saving grace in the most unsuspecting yoga guru form.
Page himself fought his way back to health when he happened upon his wife’s yoga DVD years ago. It was yoga that helped heal his body after tearing both rotator cuffs, his meniscus, and his ACL and rupturing discs in his L-4 and L-5 finally spelling an end to his career. It was yoga that inspired him to study the practice and develop his own DVD series to appeal to regular guys, like war veteran Arthur Boorman whose miraculous transformation video went viral online more than a couple of times. It’s yoga that he’s bringing to these dudes living self-destructive lifestyles.
Whether you think it’s “real yoga” or not, DDP is making a difference in people’s lives for the good. We’re inspired by his efforts to help perfect strangers in his DDP Yoga program, who often become fast friends (Page is known to call up and check in with dozens of people weekly), as well as his old pals from the biz, including Jake Roberts who was able to get shoulder surgery from a previous DDP-led indiegogo campaign. which is why we’re sharing this with you.
The We Can Rebuild Him – The Return Of Razor Ramon aka Scott Hall indiegogo campaign.
Hey Yo, The Bad Guy Needs Our Help
It’s a group effort:
Scott’s longtime friend Diamond Dallas Page, together with the support of Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman, have come together to help Scott get healthy and find a purpose in life with his inspiring story of redemption.
Because he needs a lot of help:
Unfortunately, we didn’t know just how broken Scott’s body was. At the young age of 54, Scott has had a pacemaker, and difibrillator implanted for his heart, and he can barely walk due to extreme arthritis in his hip. Unless he gets a hip replacement, he will be unable to do the necessary exercise in order to get his health back. Without medical insurance, Scott’s inability to pay for the procedures he needs are a major hurdle to his physical recovery.
Our goal is to raise $80,000 to cover his hip replacement surgery, physical therapy, dental work, and his continuing medical expenses.
And support in the “accountability crib”:
Today, Scott has been clean and sober over 40 days – longer than he can ever remember outside of a medically supervised environment. He believes something is very different this time, after 11 trips to rehab.
DDP has welcomed Scott and Jake into his home, not only to help them maintain sobriety, but to rebuild their lives from the ground up… physically, mentally, professionally, and spiritually.
We may never understand the attraction of pro wrestling, but we can understand love and support and friendship and yoga. Read more about the campaign to help Scott Hall here.

Namaste DDP! Great work. I will be happy to contribute. I would hope Mr. McMahon might consider contributing something as well!
Keep getting well Scott & Jake!
I LOOOVEEEE RAZOR RAMON!!!!!
THIS is what yoga is all about. Healing, giving, non-judgment. I love Diamond Dallas Page — and I have NEVER been a fan of pro wrestling. This is awesomesauce!
Awesome Post! I was a pro-wrestling fan back in the 90s but I definitely have respect for Diamond Dallas Page for helping his fellow wrestlers with yoga. The more people doing yoga the better I feel and especially for older men who usually raise an eyebrow to yoga.
Very nice post, yoga is they way for long healthy life, keep up the good work.

This design is steller! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!)
Wonderful job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how
you presented it. Too cool!
