Yoga Teacher Linda Dolloff Will Continue 16-Year Sentence for Beating Her Husband

in YD News, Yoga Crime

Latest from the Yoga Crime Blotter: sigh.

Remember the 2010 Linda Dolloff trial where she, a Maine yoga teacher, was tried for the 2009 beating of her husband senseless with a bat while he was sleeping, breaking his nose and fracturing his skull, and then attempting to cover it up by shooting herself and staging a home invasion? How time flies.

On Tuesday, Maine’s Supreme Judicial Court unanimously rejected the appeal by the 51-year-old who claimed her 2010 trial was marred by the prosecutor misrepresenting facts and expressing personal opinions. Dolloff will continue serving her 16-year sentence. Her ex-husband Jeff, who still can not recall details of the incident, is not expected to fully recover from his injuries.

Not for nothing, but there’s yoga in jail now. Maybe some fellow prison yog-inmates can remind Linda the meaning of ahimsa? It should be noted that Linda and her now estranged husband were going through a divorce at the time which makes it all okay because ‘don’t beat your soon-to-be ex-husband’ was omitted from Linda’s version of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Oy vey.

If she used her Manduka instead of a Louisville Slugger they both would have been better off…..

  • How did I miss this before? I guess there’s a lesson in there SOMEwhere…

I don’t believe for one second that this woman committed this crime! Another wrongfully convicted American citizen!!

Common sense certainly isn’t common these day. How someone can post their feelings of not guilty are truly bizarre, and thank goodness these out of touch individuals did not serve as jurors. All the events and the manner in which they transpired clearly illustrates this fiends guilt. A jilted woman…a story as old as time itself. Too bad this psycho didn’t receive the 30 year maximum for the wounds she inflicted on this poor man. A child could see the guilt of this narssisstic psycho.

Listen closely to the 911 call. Linda puts the phone down and continues to beat Jeff. That will convince you of her guilt!

She is a stone-cold sociopath, so used to getting her way she never believed she’d be arrested or that a jury would find her guilty. As if a killer would arrive at a crime scene with no weapon and then just happen to come upon a gun and a bat! As if she wouldn’t be able to see an attacker standing inches away. And that 911 call? Absolutely over-the-top and hilarious!! This is a person who had both legs broken and sections of bone inserted so she could be 2 inches taller. Only a maniac would do something like that (and pay 80K to boot). A dangerous loon.

@Esme….I couldn’t agree with you more. That phone call was so over the top along with many of her bizarre actions. It’s amazing to me that there are such blinded people that can actually support this loon.

This filthy dirt leg beat this man repeatedly to his face breaking nearly every bone in his face. After the assault the man looks as if he aged 15 years. He’s lost his sense of taste, smell, teeth, and feeling. We’re expected to believe that an intruder arrived with no weapons and conveniently found the bat in the corner of the garage and then moved to the dresser found the unloaded gun there and proceeded to load it and then perpetuate the crime ? This skank has guilty written all over her with her demeanor, the laughable phone call to 911, along with her interviews with police. Given all this evidence there’s still some nucklehead who’s banging the drum of ‘another innocent wrongly accused’ ? Lol, wow.. as someone stated common sense is not so common today…

I think she just snapped, she’s human and to think you build a house and now another woman can just move in? That would do something to anyone period
