“I do a lot of yoga. I practice yoga three or four times a week. It’s an escape for me.” says teen drama queen Nina Dobrev, cover star of this month’s Seventeen mag, special celeb fitness issue.
Er, the 22-year-old Bulgarian-Canadian actress starring in the CW’s Vampire Diaries, who appears to have been born with the ‘I can do what I want and still look perfect’ gene (scientists are working diligently to clone), doesn’t appear to have much trouble in the fitness dept. But we love the fact that she enjoys yoga as a “body and mind exercise.”
Nina also tells Seventeen “I’ve realized skinny isn’t necessarily attractive. Guys like girls with curves.” A message which apparently hasn’t reached the magazine’s editorial, cover-shopping team quite yet.
Nice Warrior II, Nina!

It’s great to hear about a teen celeb talking about exercising and how being waif-like skinny (which I assume is what she meant by skinny… because she looks pretty skinny, albeit maybe athletic, to me!) isn’t exactly an ideal when it comes to health.
There is a Seventeen FITNESS?! Oh dear…
You are not a yogi if you make yoga only four times a week!!
