Get your granola ready! A new indie comedy “Sunny Side Up” is underway, starring indie queen Parker Posey, yoga and a chicken farm? Posey’s character, a yoga guru from the city, flies the coop for the country taking her flock of followers along for the ride to coexist with chicken farmers, improv encouraged. What could go wrong? The cast also includes Christy Scott Cashman, a writer, producer (“The Kids Are All Right”) and prominent actress in the New England circuit, who wrote the film’s screenplay. Shooting has already begun in the Boston area, so if any of you Beantowners catch a sweaty gaggle of chicken-feathered yogis wandering your city, you’ll know why.
It’s not yoga’s first role in a comedy of course, but we know Parker is an Ashtangi so we’ve got high hopes for enlightened ridiculousness.

Great. I’ll look forward to this one.
