Wow, we’ve seen it all now. Literally! As reported in the Daily Mail, an unnamed 30s-ish woman, and glaring fan of ‘yoga not war’, decided to bring her peaceful protest to Parliament, in the nude! Proceeding to strip naked and assuming a bare-bottomed lotus position on top of a cab, Lady YoGodiva conducted a 5-minute long protest ending with a show of peace signs and the shouted message of “Troops out of Afghanistan”.
Says Carl Backland, 50, who witnessed, and lucky for us, photographed the incident, said:
‘I was on my way home from work when I spotted this woman stripping off.
Then she jumped on the top of the cab when it stopped at the lights.
‘The cab driver wasn’t very pleased to say the least. There were loads of tourists around they couldn’t believe it.
‘They were all taking pictures on their mobile phones. It stopped the traffic but I thought the police handed it well.
‘They let her finish the yoga session and then sort of gently cajoled her into coming down.’
Only in the UK?

I think it’s a shame how people don’t respect the sanctity of one’s Yoga session. It’s clear that this woman was well on her way to Samadhi before being so rudely interrupted.

I wonder if this lady is a Yoga Mom?
haha.. Bob you crack me up! seriously, those brits are so rude!
First, I salute her for voicing out what she truly believes in. Secondly, I think it was rave of her to be naked in public just to be heard. And third, i bet a lot must have listened to her really well that day. It’s her freedom of expression, but I just hope she made it more appropriate because she has made a scandal instead of a protest.
