OMG..it’s on! Just as we had predicted, Central Park is gearing up for the biggest spirited gathering since Simon & Garfunkel! June 22 could very well go down in the history books as the largest gathering of hippies, yippies and yogadorks of all shapes and sizes the world has ever seen! Hosted by flavorpill (who else? — ps. co-founder Sascha Lewis is our new favorite New Yorker) the event hopes to attract an estimated 10,000 yogis to practice on the Great Lawn under the guidance of NY’s own mistress of massive yoga events, Elena Brower. Epicness to ensue.
The best part? It’s FREE! You’re just going to have to fight amble politely for a good spot! Sounds like you still have to RSVP to attend so starting May 20th you can submit your name at www.flavorpill.com/yoga. For outta-towner yogis there’s some JetBlue contest you can enter for a trip to NYC.

Hmmm. I love NYC. Not sure I would like a mass Yoga event, though. Does the Lake Geneva Yoga Journal Conference count? There were at least 300 people there.
