The press release says the book “tells the story of one woman’s efforts to make peace with marriage before she enters its estate once more.” And yes, the marriage is with Felipe! (real name Juan Nunes). See, after meeting the man of her dreams, the two lovebirds had to go through the red tape and rigamarole of marriage, again (ick!) before the they could come home to the US to nest.
Subtitled: A Skeptic Makes Peace With Marriage, Committed is what happens when the fiery romance meets the cold chill of unsexy laws and regulations. Don’t worry, *spoiler* it’s a happy ending, and love lingers on even through the fears of lawful commitment.Again, chills. Those put off by the flighty focus of Eat, Pray, Love, it seems, will be pleased to find Liz has floated back down to Earth for this one.
And to add insult to injury, the new mature Liz will still beat out her ex-hubster’s own memoir release, even after she scrapped the first version of the book due to annoying herself with that witty chatter and starting from scratch. Poor guy, she’ll probably beat him to movie rights again too!

Interesting developments. Haven’t read the first book. Should I? My wife loved it.
