Jennifer Aniston Likes Her Yoga with a Side of Leg Lifts

The style tabloidy mags are all about celeb workouts right now huh? Which is funny because who besides celebrities can relate to these ludicrous exercise regimens?

Must be nice to get personal visits from your yoga teacher for 2 hour sessions every other day! The latest issue of Us Weekly describes that as the norm for Jennifer Aniston – who’s turning the big 4-0 in Feb – on top of hours of other exercise only celebrities have time for (click image on left to read the article). Mandy Ingber, an LA yoga and spin teacher to the stars, is Aniston’s guru of choice – other celeb clients include Brook Shields and Ricki Lake. Videos on Mandy’s website show her describing and demoing workouts, which are actually yoga poses mingled together with typical strength exercises – like squats, leg lifts and sit ups – with a cardio warmup. Very Hollywood.

From InStyle‘s ‘Movie Star Workouts’ feature this month:

“Aniston regularly does 30 minutes of cardio, her yoga session and ends with five minutes of abs and floor stretches for a full-body workout. “Yoga is not the replacement for all of your exercise,” says Ingber. “It’s best when incorporated into the workout you’re already doing.”

We got a workout just reading that, and we didn’t even have to pay for it…time for some yoga!

  • Jen is so a reserve type of person which i find it interesting to her. She`s the sexiest of all in hollywood people, she`s gifted with her beauty & body. It was good she`s separated with Bradd, she deserve better! To Jen, keep up the good work & God bless you more!
