We may be a little late on this, but in case you didn’t already know…
Yoga for Breast Health Workshop
with Bobby Clennell
Mondays January 5, 12, 19, 26 and February 2, 9; 12:15-1:45pm
Yoga is healing on many levels. From the physical to the mental, and from the psychological to the spiritual, yoga brings experiences that bridge the gaps in our understanding. Breast cancer surgery usually results in decreased mobility and numbness in the arm, shoulder and chest and can be accompanied by an overall loss of balance, energy and strength. This need not be permanent. This six part series is specifically tailored to the physical, psychological and emotional needs of breast cancer survivors including those undergoing chemotherapy, post mastectomy and post lumpectomy patients, and those with lymphedema.
We present a program of asana and pranayama to:
* Cool calm and restore the system
* Promote a state of ease and freedom in the body and ease in the mind
* Aid the healing process
* Improve and boost general health
This workshop is being offered free of charge and is open to those undergoing treatment for breast cancer (including chemotherapy), those in recovery from breast cancer surgery and breast cancer survivors. Attendance at all 6 classes is highly recommended. Beginners and all Levels welcome.
