Bollywood moviestar, Shilpa Shetty, most known to Americans for her controversial liplock with Richard Gere, has signed an exclusive deal with the massive home entertainment company, BIGFlix, India’s version of Blockbuster/Netflix, for digital distribution of her ‘Shilpa’s Yoga’ video. News broke a couple of months ago about Ms. Shetty’s yoga video going mobile and released on home video.
Now, with BigFlix’s burgeoning movie download and on-demand business, plans are in place to offer the video to customers in 2 options: Either purchase the entire 35 minute video for $4.49 (US) or download 1-minute asana snippets for free, which we’re assuming have an expiration.
